Small Dispatches From the Road
Field Notes are the in-between moments—the ones that don’t wait to become a full story. Fragments of inspiration, photographs, studio glimpses, and observations gathered as life is happening. A sentence that lands. A color that stops you. A moment that feels like something, even if you don’t yet know what. These are the notes scribbled in the margins of the map.
There’s no pressure here for things to be complete or explained. This is about noticing. About catching what might otherwise pass by. Over time, these fragments start to connect—patterns emerge, ideas return, and what once felt small reveals itself as part of something bigger. Field Notes are how I stay in conversation with the process, instead of rushing to define it.
They’re not the destination.
They’re what you gather along the way.
